The pac training is above all a learning and progression program which includes a preliminary theoretical part of a few hours and 6 jumps with a professional instructor.
The teaching concerns the technique as well as the piloting of the parachute until the landing. The instructor films the jumps in order to optimize the progression.
Pac course and patent A
What is an A CoP?
This is the first certificate that a student parachutist obtains when he/she demonstrates that he/she has mastered certain skills. Among these prerogatives, the student must know how to jump alone from the plane without accompaniment, how to fly, how to land without radio assistance and how to pack his parachute alone.
It is validated after 15 jumps.
What is the relationship between a PAC course and an A license?
A PAC course is an A license (autonomous skydiver) but it is not yet valid
You will learn to become autonomous in the three main themes (freefall / parachute piloting / packing) necessary to claim the A license
Will I jump alone?
If your instructor thinks you are technically capable, you start jumping alone like a big boy.
Do I have to do a tandem before?
It is not mandatory. Many people have the idea to do the PAC course after a tandem jump discovery
Do I have to do an initiation jump before?
